February is Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month (TDVAM), a time focused on spreading awareness and education to initiate the prevention of teen dating violence before it begins.
Dating violence can happen to anyone and, unfortunately, is more common than you may think, especially among young adults and teens.
What does it mean to have a healthy relationship?
Healthy relationship characteristics can include trust, respect, and open communication between partners. Learn more at https://www.loveisrespect.org
How do you define love? Why should we, as a community, share and bring awareness to this issue?- These are all questions we can share the spotlight on during TDVAM.
Family Services invites you to participate in #WearOrange day during TDVAM.
We wear Orange on Tuesday, February 6, to raise awareness of teen dating violence.
On this day, take a photo of yourself wearing something orange and share it on social media using #wearorange and a reason why raising awareness and talking about teen dating violence is important to you.
Tag @familyservicestc and we might share your post!
