For Human Trafficking Awareness Month this January, Family Services will be facilitating a four-part webinar series starting on January 13th. Together, we will explore some of the misconceptions, learn how to identify human trafficking, and support survivors.

Webinar 1: Understanding CSEC - Wednesday, January 13th at 2 p.m. PST
Join us to learn about sex trafficking of minors, also known as commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC), how to spot signs of trafficking, and Freedom House services.

Webinar 2: Myths & Misconceptions - Wednesday, January 20th at 2 p.m. PST
Join us to learn how commonly believed myths and misconceptions shape our perspective of human trafficking.

Webinar 3: Are they a Trafficker? - Wednesday, January 27th at 2 p.m. at PST
Can you identify a trafficker? Join us to learn more about trafficker activity, stories, and why it is difficult to change the stereotype of traffickers we see in movies and the media.

Webinar 4: Why Words Matter - Friday, January 29th at 2 p.m. PST
Join us to learn what words are used in the life, and how these words, when used by service providers and law enforcement, can potentially trigger victims of human trafficking.
