This morning, Woodlake High School student and MyVoice member Jasmine was off to Washington DC to represent Woodlake, Tulare County, and Family Services of Tulare County at the This Gen Youth Summit. Jasmine was one of only 80 students nationwide selected to attend. She and the other youth are engaging in workshops, activities, and seminars to explore efforts related to ending gender-based violence. The bold and radical goal is to be able to end gender-based violence in one generation! With young women like Jasmine leading the way, we think they can do it.
We look forward to sharing more about Jasmine's experience at the Summit in the future!
