That’s exactly what the Breaking Silence Community Coalition is all about. Rooted in education and prevention, we’re a group of youth and adults committed to creating environments where everyone—especially our LGBTQ+ friends and neighbors—can thrive in safety and connection.

Who We Are

Our coalition unites people of all ages who believe that changing the landscape of a community begins with changing the way we relate to one another. By fostering community connectedness, we aim to reduce violence, promote healthy relationships, and build a culture where respect and inclusion are the norm. We’re actively recruiting passionate individuals—students, parents, professionals, retirees—anyone ready to lend a voice and a helping hand.

Why It Matters

Every person deserves to feel safe and happy in their relationships and in the places they call home. When we invest in prevention—through education, open dialogue, and proactive programs—we interrupt cycles of harm before they start. Stronger, more compassionate communities protect vulnerable individuals, uplift marginalized voices, and give everyone a chance to flourish.
