Position: Fiscal Analyst AP

Wage: $23.91/hour - $24.88/hour

Reports to: Chief Financial Officer

The Fiscal Analyst develops, coordinates, and monitors functions and activities related to the preparation and administration of federal, state, and local government grant cost allocations. Work also involves identifying and resolving fiscal discrepancies, assisting in the annual production of the organization’s budget, project monitoring, and annual agency audit. 


  • •    Assist in developing, maintaining and analyzing agency cost allocations for local, state and federal funding
    •    Prepare and post complex journal entries including but not limited to payroll, benefits and site cost allocations
    •    Prepare reports and provide back-up documentation for report period financials
    •    Receive, record and prepare cash and ACH deposits 
    •    Assist CFO in preparing fiscal documentation for internal and external audits
    •    Maintain a working knowledge of agency programs and financial implications
    •    Other duties as assigned


Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in a related field or four (4) years progressively responsible budget/accounting experience, including job cost accounting. Preferred fund accounting experience in a nonprofit or governmental environment.  Computer skills in Excel and advanced accounting software (Abila/MIP preferred).

Transportation: A valid California Driver License and availability of a vehicle for business use and auto liability coverage as required by law.

Additional Requirements: Must receive clearance from the Department of Justice Criminal Record Offender Information database.
