Family Services’ Transitional Housing efforts are focused on providing housing and supportive services to individuals with children who have fled violent relationships and who are striving to both recover from the effects of abuse and to become self-sufficient.
We provide long-term Supportive Housing to individuals and families who have been chronically homeless due to disabilities, mental health problems, and substance abuse. Rental assistance and emergency financial support services are also available to individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
Housing is offered in Family Services-managed complexes as well as in scattered site apartments in Visalia, Tulare, and Porterville. All residents receive case management, access to individual and family therapy, support group services, and life skills groups. Families with children receive special support from our Child Advocate.
